Sandy Island Nature Preserve
Sandy Island is 40 minutes East of Oswego and is part of a Nature preserve surrounded by pristine beaches and sand dunes.
The ancient Sand Dunes were formed by wind and wave motions of a giant inland sea eons of time before the formation of today's Lake Ontario, and is ideal for beach lovers, hikers, birdwatchers, canoeists and kayakers!
